VMware

VMware is a virtual machine software that simulates a complete computer system with complete hardware system functions through software and runs in a completely isolated environment.

Like physical machines, virtual machines are software computers that run operating systems and applications. A virtual machine contains a set of specifications and configuration files and is supported by the host’s physical resources. Each virtual machine has virtual devices that provide the same functionality as physical hardware but are more portable, more secure, and easier to manage.
